The Paperback Cooperative produces book reviews and the occasional editorial on matters related to book culture. Contributors include a number of writers, academics, househusbands, and a grade-schooler; the main thing we share in common is a love of books and good writing.
The cooperative aims to review books released relatively recently in paperback, but we refuse to be held by any specific rule. Occasionally we will review books just released in hardback. Occasionally we may review books that are (sadly) out of print in a quixotic attempt to talk some reluctant publisher into reissuing the book.
We are looking for people to join us. If you would like to review for the cooperative, please send a brief note to Nathan Elliott at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please outline any reviewing experience you may already have, and mention any specific genres that you are interested in covering. If at all possible, please include a brief writing sample. Currently we are especially interested in people who could cover the following genres: sports, romance, and children’s literature.
